Brand new TU TU bags

So my shelby and Quin Quin will be starting dancing school in Sept. they are so excited. So naturally we went on line to look at bags! See I cant do that cause as soon as Lisa found ones she like "I CAN MAKE THOSE" So that is how these cute little TU TU bags came about. I made shelby one that I will post on here ,but I cant put it on FB because I dont know if I can make anymore. Ry is doing HIP HOP and wanted a bag also .Surprisingly!! but Im so glad.. Quinny will take what ever you give her, but she is actually starting to have her own litlle taste going on with things...

Beautiful Bride to be!

Well today i went to Jamies bridal shower..what a beautiful bride she will be. All of Linda's daughters are so beautiful and SWEET..Wish I could have stayed longer but during the shower they announced that the bridges would be closing due to the hurricane..Still waiting on Irene.So I was glad that dear hubby waited around for me. So now I sit here and I can actually hear the rain banging gaainst the siding on the house, and its getting louder then it was before.Stopped at Walmart for some magazines and snacks. Also was looking for tulle to finish the girls dancing school bags (will post pics). Downloaded the HELP on Nook ,so tommorrow i will have something to read if power goes out ,which it has in towns IRENE has already visited..

DAMN IRENE!

I cant believe we are now getting a hurricane. This week was a doozy, earth quake,now hurricane. And this will be a biggie. They have totally evacuated the jersey shore,and are expecting up to 100 miles per hour winds..kinda scared

Really an EARTHQUAKE?!!!

Well had off work today and had to go downtown philly to run some errands. Got hubby to drop me off down FABRIC ROW ,WOW! i love that place.Went in and got some beautiful fabric to make the girls halloween skirts and some nice fall jumpers. Had a great time going store to store looking at all the wonderful fabric. Do you believe I just recently found fabric row and in the last two months it looks like two of the stores are closing..I hope its only a handful..but i dont know..>Went into one store had all decorator fabric for $1 yd, but the deal was you must by 10 yds or it is $2 yd for any other size. So after looking alot . I found beautiful cotton fabric that I will use in my dining room of our new house (if we ever move). Worst scenerio i use it here. So I take my dress fabric and my 20 yards of decorator fabric on a large bolt tube and go buy a coffee and sit on a bench on the corner of 4th and Bainbridge, while waiting for hubby,. As I am sitting there ,All of a sudden the bench starts to shake as if someone was holding the back of it and shaking it. First thing i did ws look behind me to see if someone i knew (Or some nut ) was shaking it. Then I looked around to see if any huge vehicles were driving by. So I thought ,maybe there is a subway under here. Just then a woman comes over and sits on bench next to me. "Did you just feel that shaking? I asked her" . she said no, maybe its aa gas pipe under the street. Then a young woman with a baby and a dog come barrelling out of a apartment building across the street. She had felt the shaking and was scared to death..She felt better knowing that everyone was outside for the same reason and it wasnt her apartment. Soon people were driving by saying we had a earthquake in Virginia!!. Wow what must the poor people of california go thru?.. This was my first encounter and it was only a after shock..Glad everyone is ok..God Bless

Almost 300 fans!!

I cant believe that my FB pages has almost 300 fans already..I am so hoping I will be able to keep up with this. At the moment MY2Gems is in 2 giveaways and trying to start my own!. I think i might throw one of my cute little towel dresses up on the site to see if i can get any feedback on it..Its almost back to school so all the kids will be getting nice new school clothes and accessories.
